The CNODES Simulated Dataset was created as a valuable tool for training purposes, quality assurance analyses, and many other purposes. CNODES’ Simulated Dataset was created by adapting simulation packages developed by the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) to simulate data resembling the RAMQ (Quebec) data.
This dataset has been helpful in evaluating new statistical methods in a controlled environment, in training new data analysts, and to ensure that analyses are conducted at all CNODES sites with a standard high level of quality and rigor.
